Boeing IT is currently hiring talented and motivated college graduates into the IT Career Foundation Program (ITCFP). This is a rotation program where participants will be assigned challenging work assignments and be mentored by technology professionals who provide industry leading solutions. You will assist in delivering best in class technological solutions to our business, our partners, and our customers. You will be assigned tasks that will help you apply and expand on the skills you have developed at school and will assist in building a solid foundation for your future career with Boeing. Participants in the program will be exposed to software development and sustainment, Boeing’s IT infrastructure, customer engagement, and information security during three rotations of one year duration.

This position is located in Seattle, Washington. (Renton, WA)
Preferred background and experience includes: Quality Control Inspection Department experience; some experience with metrology tools and equipment and or an ability to learn; some sales experience; excellent communicator.
This is an excellent opportunity to join Mitutoyo America right out of school and learn the metrology business. Have you been around tools and capital equipment? Have you taken any courses in metrology, worked with precision tools? Have experience with technical writing, understand what’s involved with quality control? Have the ability to run a pristine equipment showroom, meet and greet, handle customers while learning about our tools, equipment and software? This Showroom in the Seattle area is brand new and we are looking for a self-driven candidate to assist with the setting up and opening. This has historically been a stepping stone to larger, more complex roles in our organization.
This position works out of and manages our Showroom of product offerings. You will assist with the setting up of this new showroom in Seattle Washington. You will perform functions to promote sales and effective use of Mitutoyo America products by conducting product demonstrations and training, answering technical inquiries, overseeing product inventory, and assuring operability of metrology center equipment.

Essential Job Responsibilities
1. Assist customers and Mitutoyo America personnel with product applications, troubleshooting, and specific product recommendations.
2. Establish and conduct training programs on new and current products for customers and Mitutoyo America personnel as directed by regional manager.
3. Conduct product demonstrations and answer technical inquiries for customers and Mitutoyo America personnel.
4. Provide telephone technical support to customers and Mitutoyo America personnel. Document and report support activities as required.
5. Maintain communications with Mitutoyo America departments to keep abreast of new products and latest advancements of existing products.
6. Maintain reference libraries of product operation manuals. Assist customers and Mitutoyo America personnel with obtaining copies of reference materials.
7. Maintain and conduct product inventories.
8. Assure that metrology center products are operable and current.
9. Date and rotate products annually by working with sales personnel to sell outdated items.
10. Maintain appearance and cleanliness of facility.
11. Prepare and submit required reports in a timely manner.
12. Participate in Mitutoyo America and distributor trade shows.
13. Attend regional meetings and participate in sales training and product knowledge sessions as required.
