The School of Forestry at Louisiana Tech University is searching for an M.S.-level graduate student to conduct research regarding development of volume equations using remote sensing data. The student will develop tree level volume equations (i.e., total volume and product volume) by describing the stem using taper function modeled using LIDAR and multispectral aerial photography.

• Stipend: $15,000 per year for MS student (for 2 years)

• The student will be responsible for in-state tuition and fees (approximately $7,500 per year)
