National Public Lands Day Volunteer Event: September 28

In honor of National Public Lands Day the City of Bellevue will be holding a volunteer planting event on September 28th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. We will be planting native plants at the new McTavish Trail Extension near 12250 SE 9th Pl Bellevue, WA 98005. We are hoping to recruit 25-30 community members to assist with this project. This project is ideal for adults and teens. All children under 16 years of age will need one volunteering parent/chaperone per child.

Pre-registration is required.

Directions to Project Site: From I-405 S toward Renton. Take the SE 8th St exit, EXIT 12. Turn left onto SE 8th St. Turn right onto 121st Ave SE. Take the 1st left onto SE 9th Pl. 12250 SE 9TH PL is on the left. Parking located in the cul-de-sac.
