Opportunity to work as a volunteer this summer for the Washington NASA Space Grant
From August 1st through August 26th, the Northwest Earth and Space Science Pipeline (NESSP), in cooperation with the Washington NASA Space Grant Consortium, will be hosting their first annual summer camp. This summer camp, which will be held on the UW campus, will serve to inspire a group of young, brilliant, underrepresented students (middle and high school) to pursue STEM.
Whether you consider yourself a scientist, engineer, doctor or anything in between, we would love for you to help this summer camp to be a success by serving as a volunteer. As a volunteer you would help to inspire these young minds by sharing your expertise and, most importantly, your enthusiasm.
Your time commitment as a volunteer would be completely dependent on what you are able to commit. The Camp will run Monday through Friday, 10am to 2pm. We will visit different laboratories around campus and will go on a couple of field trips.
If you are interested in volunteering for the NESSP summer camp and would like to get more information, please contact Isabel Carrera at firstname.lastname@example.org.
