The larvae department at Taylor Shellfish Hatchery in Quilcene, WA is looking for a new hatchery technician to join our team, beginning in early February.
We seek a hardworking and energetic employee who finds joy in growing living organisms and doesn’t mind the repetitive chores that must be done to accomplish this. The nursery department is also looking for a hatchery technician to assist in the production of quality geoduck and oyster seed. These two positions would start in February, and would be full-time, 40 hours a week for about 9 months. There is a possibility of extending the season, depending on available work.
