An Afternoon with Beijing’s Funniest American Comedian

 

Laughter brings together communities. That’s what Jesse Appell intends to do at his next live comedy talk show at the UW. Come out on January 31st at 4:00 p.m. in the Communications Building, Room 120 for an hour of hilarious comedy.

Hosted by the Confucius Institute of the State of Washington, Asian Languages and Literature Department, and The Whole U, Appell, a Fulbright Scholar alumnus, has been featured on CBS, TEDx, PBS, NPR, and PRI will perform his bilingual comedy aiming to overcome cultural gaps with a focus on storytelling.
