This year’s Bevan Series is a rich and varied consideration of the broad question of the role – and thus need – for data in driving towards sustainable fisheries. Do we need more data? If so, of what kind? What would happen if we began to consider non-traditional (in the sense of Western, mainstream science) data sources? Please visit the Bevan web page to view this year’s line-up of speakers.
This week’s seminar will be presented on Thursday, January 19 at 4:30 PM in the Fishery Sciences Auditorium (map) by Dr. Geoff Shester, Oceana’s California Campaign Director. Geoff will be available for individual or small-group meetings on Thursday and Friday, Jan 19-20. To schedule a meeting, please email Dave McGowan (firstname.lastname@example.org).
