Upcoming UW Environment Events for Future Students
Are you waiting to hear from admissions about the status of your application? Just starting your college search? Preparing for a transfer to UW?
Regardless of where you are in the process of planning for your College of the Environment adventure, now is a great time to learn more and start exploring possible majors and career paths.
We have several upcoming events designed to help you visualize and prepare for your UW Environment experience. Feel free to attend one or more sessions! RSVP is encouraged so
we can plan for numbers but we always welcome walk-ins. Family members are welcome to join us for these events as well.
First Thursday Info Sessions – These information sessions occur on campus on the first Thursday of every month during the academic year from 3-4 p.m. and are designed to pair
well with visit options from the Office of Admissions such as Transfer Thursday (1:30-2:30 p.m.) or the Campus Tour and Freshman Info Session (9-11 a.m.).
Exploring Majors in the College of the Environment
Thursday, February 2, 3-4 p.m., Kane Hall, room 234/ RSVP
This session is an overview of all seven College of the Environment majors. Content includes: differences/similarities between majors, how to prepare and declare, & scholarship opportunities
UW Environment Insider: The Student Experience
Thursday, March 2, 3-4 p.m., Kane Hall, room 234/ RSVP
Meet current College of the Environment students and learn about their experiences. Content includes: Choosing a college, selecting a major, undergraduate research, & advice for prospective students
Online Webinars – These virtual information sessions are perfect for students who are unable to visit the UW campus in person. Webinars are offered throughout the academic
year, on the first Wednesday of every month, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. PST. Advance RSVP is required to receive a link to the webinar.
