Student Helpers Needed: SEFS Advising – Student Office Assistant Position
Lisa Nordlund, David Campbell, and Michelle Trudeau are looking for a student assistant to help in the SEFS Advising office.
The applicant should be willing to work 8-12 hours per week and would start immediately (work schedule is flexible depending on class schedule).
Pay will depend on experience.
1) Manage SEFS Advising email to schedule advising appointments and answer questions regarding major requirements, course information, and graduation logistics 2) Update and maintain the SEFS WordPress blog, websites and various forms
3) Assist with general office work including filing, shredding, and faxing documents
4) Help set up and manage events, including ESRM senior capstone presentations and the SEFS graduation celebration event 5) Use Microsoft Word and Excel to track student data and prepare letters
Sophomore or junior in good academic standing
Willing to start Spring quarter 2017 and continue next academic year through Spring 2018 Web-design skills and ability to provide web design support if needed Good communication and organization skills
Experience with Microsoft Office
