SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) Scholarship application

The Washington State Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI®) Implementation Committee (SIC) is accepting scholarship applications from students pursuing an education in Forestry or Natural Resources.

The scholarship is available to continuing college-level students, who will be attending, full-time (12 units) during the 2017-2018 school year, a Forestry or Natural Resource program at one of the following schools:

• University of Washington, Seattle
• Washington State University, Pullman
• Green River Community College
• Spokane Community College
• Grays Harbor College
• Centralia Community College
Or any other WA State accredited Forestry or Natural Resource program.

The successful applicant will be awarded a one-time scholarship of up to $1,000. To receive payment, the successful applicant will be required to submit Fall 2017 enrollment verification to WA SIC.

Complete and return the following application form to WA SIC postmarked no later than May 15, 2017. The successful applicant will be notified in early June.

Electronic application forms are available on the Washington SIC website: http://www.wasfi.org. Applications must be submitted in paper form to the address on the application.
