Learn about the physical, biological and social aspects of the marine environment with this introductory course suitable for students at all levels. Topics include oceanography, ecology, physiology, behavior, conservation, fisheries, exploration and activism. This course can be a great choice for areas of knowledge, and it is a requirement of the Marine Biology Minor and the Marine Biology Major (new for autumn 2018).
Looking for a really unique experience this autumn? take the Marine Biology course in residence at our marine field station Friday Harbor Labs as part of the Marine Biology Quarter (MBQ).
