Veteran? ESRM Major Looking for Summer Employment?

Do you know of any veterans in ESRM looking for summer employment? (It needs to be a vet because of their special hiring authority allows me to circumvent the traditional replacement hiring, which is slow.)

The job would pay about $15-17/hr. depending upon experience and education; would run till ~November (or less if they need to get back to school); it’s based out of Verlot, WA (out by Granite Falls) and there is bunkhouse space available if needed. Our schedule is 4-10’s, Monday-Thursday.

The work entails: flagging/painting/tagging/traversing boundaries, marking wildlife and leave trees and aiding in cruising. It is physically demanding and they will be outside in all weather conditions.

Let me know if you have any good candidates (or have them shoot me an email) and feel free to spread the word.
